597 help with stock

Default 597 help with stock

I bought a 597 with the vtr stock on it, i took it off, and bought a tundra stock for it, does the stock 597 have a bull barrel or does it have standard barrel channel?
please let me know thanks!!!!

The 597 VTR should have a heavy barrel according to Remington. The Tundra stock for the 597 is cut for the heavy barrel, so it should be a perfect match!

i ordered a standard. but it does not seem to fit tight pics later

That's why many stockmakers post 95-98% inletted...sometimes ya gotta get in there & hog it out a little for that perfect fit
