Im in Connecticut, a week after the sandy hook disaster 22 ammo was gone, still cant find it anywhere her. i have about 1000 rounds , but have hesitated to shoot them which is sad. the ironic thing is that i am saving them so i have some to shoot! lol
At least reloading components havent sky rocketed, although, i cant find a set of rcbs carbide dies for my 9mm, cabelas and midway are out, it looks like i could get them from rcbs, but they are about 20 bucks more, not worth it to me, YET!

Yeah, I think so too. But the ammo shortage is what's REALLY bugging me. I hope that softens up soon.

Are you sure it had a 2 and 4 on the price sticker?

I was at The Indy 1500 Gun & Knife Show in Indianapolis (which is our largest show) yesterday and actually saw a brick of Remington .22LR for $75. I saw a few single boxes of CCI for $22 each. Those are crazy prices but there they were. Every 9mm box was averaging $26 per box. I bought some at a LGS the day before for $19. There aren't many 'deals' in there, certainly none worth waiting for hours in line to get in and see.

Is that show worth going to on a normal situation? We're in Northwest Indiana and I've always wanted to go. We're only 2 hours away.

South Florida Walmarts
rem golden bullets 225 rd bulk packs (36 gr jhp) around 11 bucks
Not hard to find
50 round win usually available a few times a week around 3.50
Odd stuff maybe once a week in 22
I have 5 Walmarts near me and 3 BassPro's but Bass Pro never works out as I cannot be there in the mornings.
If you do not mind the 3 box rule Walmart works out most of the time here for us.
Gun show next weekend I will check but they always have been running a few bucks more.
