The Federal Software doesn't even plot to 400 yards with rimfire. The most it goes to is 350 yds. At that range the bullet drop is over -160" with a 100 yard zero. The software plots over +60" at 190 yards if you set up with a 350 yard zero. The bullets are at 360 fps and are have 50-60 fp left in them at 350 yds.
I'm inclined to agree he should have a 4' 'group' at that range, at best. On the other hand, I've seen someone shoot an arrow through a wedding band tossed way up in the air, repeatedly.
