How many feet was the mid range trajectory? Looks like fun.

Yes those ranges are fun with a .22 I shoot 200+ sometimes at our club when I get bored. I use one of my 513T Remingtons

Our range does not allow rimfire on the 300 yard range so I can only shoot to 100 yards. I usually use my CZ 452 with a 3-9x40 BSA Sweet 22 scope. The BDC really works. I like to use the spinner target at that range. I use orange peel targets if people are around.

And he’s doing it with a semi! Here’s what I found in the comments:

>Leupold VX-II 6-18x40mm. Elevation adjustment of 56 MOA from the factory, base has an additional 30 MOA machined in

>SK Standard Plus at 300yd, Federal AutoMatch at 400yd. Not the best, but it was what I had on hand at the time. Both are standard 40gr weight.

The Federal Software doesn't even plot to 400 yards with rimfire. The most it goes to is 350 yds. At that range the bullet drop is over -160" with a 100 yard zero. The software plots over +60" at 190 yards if you set up with a 350 yard zero. The bullets are at 360 fps and are have 50-60 fp left in them at 350 yds.

I'm inclined to agree he should have a 4' 'group' at that range, at best. On the other hand, I've seen someone shoot an arrow through a wedding band tossed way up in the air, repeatedly.

You know, I get the same looks when I shoot a 8" gong with my Rem 513T .22 at 200 yards at my gun club. They always ask if it's a .223. Do I think you could shoot a 12" group @ 400 with a .22? NO Do I think you could hit a 12x12 trap @ 400? Yes
