Most all of my shooting with a 22 RF rifle is at prairie dogs. My Ruger 10-22 T w/ Burris 6X AO target scope likes Winchester 40 Gr HP PP bullets and the rifle is sited in with them at 60 yards. I limit my shots to about 75 yards so that I get clean kills when the p dogs are shot at any angle. My Anschultz 1710 MG w/ 4-12 X AO scope is a bit more accurate and have taken a few rabbits with it to about 90 yards.

built up 10 22 sighted @ 75 yds 1 big hole 3 in high @ 50yds 1.25 in group @100 yds 3 in low with cci blaser bulk. thats what this barrel likes.

Shooting the center of 8' paper plates at 100 yards with my four 22 cal. rifles isn't a problem.........

I use a 4-16x40 scope on my .22lr, and I bang golf balls all day long at 50-100 yards. I drill a hole thru the golf ball attach a cord, and hang it out there. They last about 40-50 shots.

errr, arent you suppose to shoot them? guess what ever does it for you.
