.22 spinner target
Hopefully I posted this in the section.
I was looking for recommendations on a spinner target. Usually I just use old bottles or cans, but I want something that isn't paper and I can reuse over and over. Not sure if the brands matter, but I figured I'd ask this forum since the knowledgeable members who post. So if you can shed some light, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks. |
Midway sells a few that are pretty good. I think Caldwell makes them. Just make sure to get the right one(s) for the caliber(s) you're using.

I'm just using a .22 on it. Thanks Drum. I'll check out the Caldwells.

I went to midwayusa.com and did a search for steel targets. There were several to choose from.

I bought a couple from Amazon that work well...

i biught a couple at wallyworld .there nutinfancy but do work well . three diamond shaped targets , you can get all three soinning at the same time . they do well with typical 22 ammo but the hyper velocity stuff does dent it up a bit .....

Just be sure not to shoot them with a 270 are anything large it will put a hole in them.
|
Just be aware that bullets can STILL ricochet-even though you're using spinner targets.

I have a spinner that I bought at Sportmans Warehouse about 6 years ago. It works well. It has a large circle at the bottom and a small one at the top.
I noticed last time I looked at it there are some dents that may someday go all the way through. I can't imagine what we must have shot it with. It has only been used for 22. We have shot some Velocitor and some Stingers. It has been hit many hundreds of times. My son really likes it. |
