I have a Winchester model 62A Pump and it is the most accurate .22 I have ever fired. I inherited it from my grandfather. I had the Rossi pump carbine which is basically a reproduction of the Model 62A and the Rossi was a fun little gun to shoot. I sold the Rossi once my grandfather gave me the the Winchester 62 A. You should really like the Rossi!

The Model 1890 was discontinued in 1932 with S/N 734454. A clean up of the production run lasted into the early prewar 1940s. The estimated final production was 849,000. I would guess your M90 was produced some time in the late '30s.

How to determine the differences of first, second, and third model guns.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

I don't want to hijack the thread, but I have a Henry .22 magnum pump
model (H003TM) with octagon barrel. It is a great shooter. I received
it as a Christmas gift from my wife last year.

Default Pump 22's

My dad paid $2 in 1959 for a winchester mod.1890 hex barrel WRF and it was immediately mine at 12 yo. Gave it to my son. Also picked up a winchester mod 1910 gallery gun when about 15 yo. and gave it to my daughter. Great guns.

I recently was given a winchester model 270 pump. It is a great rifle. I have seen other posts in other forums where guys are paying up to 450.00 for them! Mine is very accurate, functions great, and has a very nice upgrade checkerd walnut stock. I mounted a simmons 4x scope and just love shooting it. It seems to favor the federal copper jacketed hollow point ammo.
