Default .22 Mauser sights wanted

Hi all. My friend has an old Mauser from the second WW and he lend it to someone. That persons house burnt down with the rifle inside the safe. I was restored, but its still missing the front sights. Does anyone know where we can find origanal ones. Any help will be appreciated. I will know the model in a day or so.

Need a bit more info. Mauser made several different rifles before and during WW II.

If it's a front dovetail, Brownell's will have a substitute, but for an original, you'll have to look elsewhere. has lots of stuff, but that's a pretty rare rifle to find spare original parts.
