Winchester 255,Erma Werke 73 (a German Winchester 9422M copy) and a Savage 93GL are the only three I have now. I've had Marlin's and Ruger's in the past that were also very good guns. Henry makes a nice one also.
Winchester 255. I have one given to me by my grandfather that i plan on shooting soon. I haven't shot it since he gave it to me and taught me to shoot almost 20 years ago. In fact it's the only gun i own (other than an old Chinese pellet gun and daisy co2 pistol). Looking forward to it once the weather cools down. I'm not new to guns as i've shot dozens while i was in the military, hunting, and plinking with friends and i suppose that's why i've never bought one. I recently moved however and don't have access to dozens other people's guns hehe so it's time i start taking the reigns.
I have a Henry with a Leupold M8 4x on it which is a nice scope for a lever gun because it is compact and has nice fine crosshairs. This gun is a tack driver with ammo it likes and if I do my part it will shoot 5 shot groups that are a 30 cal size hole. Great gun and great cartridge.
