Picked up some from cabelas. 2100 rounds in a metal ammo can for 99.99. Not bad for something that doesn't exist

Try your LGS as soon as they open a couple days a week. Mine gets in a few bricks every few days. Even at a 50 rd. per person limit its's gone in 30 min or so. Like stated above you can get lucky online every once and a while but if it says "in stock" don't hesitate, it won't be for long.

Last year my LGS was selling 5000 round cases of Federal 710s and 712s cheap, I'm so happy I bought a couple.

check out academy in your area.
find out what the shipping dates are and get in line 30 mins before the store opens.
the ones where I am in Texas have a three box limit and no more than one box in each caliber. so you can by a box of 100ct 22lr, a box of 9mm in the bulk ammo can of 200rds for $99 and say a box of 50ct- 40SW. but, you can't by three boxes of 50ct 22lr. and like posted above it all sells out in about 30 minutes after opening.

You might try Walmart. My local store has been getting 22lr in every week or two. The guy there was even nice enough to tell me the best days to come in. It does go quick!

Funny story, the local walmart gun guy told me everyone comes in and tries to leave a piece of paper with him with their phone number on it, to call them when ammo comes in. He said if he kept every piece of paper they gave him he wouldn't be able to close his wallet.
