Just called my local Dick's Sporting Goods and was asking for the hunting dept and the operator asked if I was looking for ammunition lol. She said the 22lr's sell out within the hour :/.

One of my co-workers stopped into Shooters outpost here in NH on his lunch hour. They had a shelf of Federal 375 round bulk packs for $20.00 each, he bought 3. I thought he was nuts, but at least he has some ammo. He was happy, so I left it at that.

If you're going to buy from Dicks or Academy find out what days they get their shipments in and get there an hour or more before they open. My local Walmart waits until 7am to put out its ammo. You just have to do your research. It's out there it just goes quick.

Cabelas.com had 2100 rounds for $99 a little earlier. They're out of stock now. Keep an eye on them. I've picked up 3 bricks the past 2 weeks from them for about 5 cents a round. Watch em close and order fast

Just got back from Bass Pro a couple minutes ago. Managed to get my first box of 22lrs. I called and the guy mentioned they had in about a 100 bulk packs so I went down there. I went in at 9.06am and was the no.11th person to grab the number ticket...limit was one bulk pack per person.
Remington Golden Bullet pack (brass plated hollow points) 525 rds-$22.99

Just happened to be in the neighborhood today and stopped into Hoover Tactical Firearms. They had Remington UMC 55gr MC for $9.50 a box and CCI Stinger for $7.50 a box. Both were 1 per customer and although I have over 2,000rds of 223 and 4,000rds of 22lr I went ahead and got my limit.

Both were priced close to normal I thought. Good to see.

I just picked up 3200 rounds this morning at Walmart. I got 2 Winchester m-22 1000 round boxes at $48 each and 4 boxes of cci ar tactical .22 325rd boxes at 23 each. The family will be able to shoot for a couple weeks now :-)

For those that don't know, download the Walmart app on your phone. Check it late at night or early in the morning before they open. When they scan the pallet coming off the truck it updates their qty in the app. Show up when they open and pick up what ever you want. It may not be on the shelf right away, ask somebody that works there if they can get you some ammo from out back. If they say there isn't any give them the Walmart part number and tell them to double check.

3200 rounds a couple weeks?! Y'all just sit on the back porch and shoot every squirrel and rabbit that walks by or what? Lol

Panics are made for profiteers.

As long as the hoarding continues so will the high prices. Right now, if you buy more than you shoot, you are buying into the problem and paying dearly for the privilege. I have put on an eye-patch and have been selling ammo, and loving it. Anybody need a $100.00 brick? $50.00 9mm? $75.00 .45 ACP? Sorry, all sold out of 7.62 x 39.(I cleaned up on that stuff ) If you are not selling now, you will regret it later.

This was all based on Obama coming for your guns. He hasn't been to my house yet. Martial law that was predicted in Jan., for Feb. hasn't happened, and is only on the horizon in LaLa land. Assault ban is DOA except in the annals of the NRA. (excepting, of course, if you live in a state of fruits and nuts) I have yet to see a blue helmet; whats with that? No economic collapse, the stock market is booming, according to Republican philosophy, the rest of us will benefit from the trickle-down. Or is it being trickled on? All of the posturing in the congress is going to end with a whimper, not a bang. No American revolution, no second civil war, unless of course, you are a member of the Aryan Brotherhood; if so, good luck with that.

About the worst thing to happen in the past few months is the self-inflicted wound of the ammo shortage.

I know it hurts, but the Apocalypse is just not here. Embrace it, roll with it, stop the freaking hoarding, and everyone can live happily ever after.

Did I mention , "self inflicted wound?" oh yea, I did.
