.22 conversion or M&P .22

I have a predicament and need some input. Do I put a CMMG .22 conversion on my S&W M&P - 15 or just pick up a new M&P .22 rifle? I know accuracy is better with a dedicated .22 but what else? I could shoot .22 with my scope on the AR and grip and everything I have put into it if I did the conversion...

Talk me into the new rifle please !!

ive got both. hands down the M&P. i even got a vortex strikefire red/green dot for my M&P. its a nite and day difference.

the cmmg kit is great for a lightweight survival hunting tool but its super super dirty in a standard ar15 upper. it works flawless but there is no comparison. the twist rate for 22lr needs to be around 1:16. ar15 barrels even the older 1:12 m16 barrels are just to fast.

get the M&P 15-22 you wont be disapointed. if you can find one get the magpul upgraded version its a pretty good deal

Thanks for the input. Buds has the magpul MOE rifle in that flat dark earth and it sure is pretty. I am going to check my LGS and see if they have it or can order it. If not, I may do my first online firearms purchase.
