Default .22 Ammunition

What is the difference between the way ammunition from a .22 pellet gun like a Benjamin Sherridan fires and the gunpowder powered version? Is one more powerful?

Thanks

Most of your .22 pellet rifles shoot 15 gr pellets about 800 fps or less. A typical .22 LR travels about 1250 fps with a 40 gr bullet. There is no comparison between the two. The pellet guns are no match for a .22 LR.
