Yeah it is filthy stuff, but I like the price and functionality.

while I was having FTE problems with my 10/22 I wanted to get some simi auto 22 ammo, I couldn't find the fed automatch, but I did find some Winchester M-22 it was $40 for 1000 rounds. I'm halfway through it and only one FTE. Pretty happy with it.

I dumped about 2000 thousand rounds of Remington Golden Bullets down an out house......I'll tell you where if you want to go fish it out.

Yeah well I dumped 500 or so rounds of Winchester Xpert High Velocity in the crap ammo bucket. To each his own.

Both but I was referring to the gun. The cleanliness is irrelevant to me because I clean my .22 after every time I shoot it. I can't let a 71 yr. old gun sit dirty.

but what does it function and pattern best with thats what you want to use. my ruger holds 1.25 or less groups at 100 yds with cci blaser bulk but with rem copper clad patterns blown after 20 rounds and takes forever to clean. but the rems work fine in my beretta neos up to about 200 rounds at 10 to 25 yards . any 22 you need to try 10 +types of ammo and see what that gun likes

I'm more into squirrels and spray paint cans than 100 yd targets. I always hit what I'm shootin at so pattern isn't a concern. I'm into splittin pencils more than I am paper targets. I'm not into competition, I'm more into plinking and having fun.

I agree with you insofar as during a brief time that Fed Blue Box was unavailable, the Remington was a substitute. Fed costs the same around here and is cleaner so it is an easy choice.

must be something wrong with my mark III - it fires the remington golden hollow points (525 bulk box) without any type of problems. It jams like crazy with the (Fed red box). i too have never seen the Fed blue box??

as for the remingtons being a lil dirty, does it really matter....i hope we all clean our guns after shooting

talk about dirty 22lr ammo, try shooting some Aguila super max.it has a very strange smell also.
