Yeh can you just see the old 38 rim cartridge with a 40 ackley shoulder and a 30-40 grain hornady poly tip on top. A thing of beauty!

Love to see it in a ruger #1 action! Maybe henry would be even better.

My Savage in .17 HMR is ugly, cheap, good trigger, and very accurate - I will take that in the new Super anyday!!
