Alrighty roo,

I've got my hands on a spare factory 10/22 hammer.

I had heard that there are simple DIY mods you can do to a factory hammer to improve your trigger pull to between 2 and 4 lbs, down from the stock 8.

Can anyone help me out with this? It would be a lot less expensive and much more enjoyable than just buying a volquartsen or similar aftermarket hammer.

I'm fairly adept at following these types of instructions, so don't fear being too technical.
