hey thats good for your 1022 to be shooting whatever at sixty yards but my marlin shoots fine aint been cleaned or madazzled up like yours and i hit everytime at eighty yards at a apple and can shoot crappy ammo unlike your 1022 that has to have federal only so go tell all your freinds that

Got a Ruger here that hits peppermints at 100 Yards. And a Ruger copy (AMT Lightning) that will do the same. I have had Marlins. They shot fine. But they are not a better built rifle. I'd say it's about as good. But in no way better. And I'll take an exrea mag (or few) to the woods while you try to feeds that tube mag and see how that goes.

Don't you know enough to shut up when you're given the signs? You've been told this ain't a Ruger vs Marlin post more times than 1. It's a post where he's asking for help on a Ruger. If you want to compare Marlins to Rugers then start a new thread doing so.

yes it is an aftermarket barrel, as i stated in the title. I can shoot 10 shots and have them all touch with the federal hp bulk that it will shoot at 80 yds, so have fun hitting that apple.
