Default ZQI 5.56 ammo @ Walmart

Stopped in Walmart today and they had ZQI(Zenith Quest International) 5.56 on the shelf for $9.95 box of 30rds.

Never tried it, but comes from Turkey and distributed through ZQI of Virginia.

Website says it's clean burning NATO spec 62gr FMJ ammunition, so I picked up 10 boxes(300rds) to try.

Anybody try it yet? What's your assessment of it.

The box says: "made to Nato specifications and lot tested to assure less than 1-minute of angle @ 100 meters".

I have been thinking about picking some up but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Let us know how you make out with it.

Some of the first ammo I ran through my AR. All I could find at the time. I did not have any problems. The rifle did not seem any dirtier than what I shot when I was active duty.

I've seen the box on the shelf but for some reason I was thinking it was 20 rounds in the box. 30 for $10, I may have to check it out.

Ya its just loose packed in the case. No stripper clips or anything of that nature.

Recently I bought a 420 round ammo box of Federal XM193 for $170 at Walmart. In the steel box were fourteen 30-rd paper boxes (stripper clips). I'll have to look for ZQI 62 grain. I'm curious if it truly is 30-rds for $10, of course every Walmart is different.
