I have a Bushmaster Predator with a free float and a swivel stud. For anyone who has one: what is your pick as the best bipod for this rifle. I really like the looks of the GGG. bipods, but I cant tell if they will fit my rifle. I dont have any rails on the gun.

I am partial to the Harris Swivel (which should be called cant as this feature allows the rifle to be canted from side to side to keep the rifle straight on uneven surfaces) Bipods. I like the fact that they attach to the front sling swivel stud and can be used on all of my Rifles.

As per length, I either shoot from a portable bench or prone and I much perfer the Bench Rest Length, 6" to 9". If I need to shoot from a sitting or kneeling position I use my crossed shooting sticks it seems. The tallest of the Bipods is not tall enough for my large frame.

im fond of collapsable shooting sticks. i do have a harris bipod on my remington 700 but that isnt a gun i lug through the brush so weight isnt a factor. on my brush gun i use sticks or a handy tree or my backpack if im on foot.

Harris BiPods...I like the quality and features that Harris offers in their products. When my oldest son wanted a bipod for his Bushmaster M4A3 I recommended Harris. All he had to do was buy an adapter piece so that it would mount to his Bushmaster M4A3 rifle. I have one on my long range rifle. You will pay a little more for Harris BiPods,but I believe they're worth it.

I bought a Leapers Tactical OP Bipod, for about 20 bucks...installed it on my 6.5 Grendel upper rail. I have one on each of the weapons I have need for a bi-pod. Not a single glitch to date.

Larue makes an AWESOME bipod using a Harris and some of their machineing majic.
