You do NOT have a AR15
I know here on FTF we try not to use the term assault rifle. So why do we use AR15? If your gun is not made by Armalite it is not an AR15. AR15 is a model. Your colt is not a AR it's a LE901-16s, LE6940, LE6949p ext...... You DPMS is a MK-12, AP4, A1 Lite 20 ext...... Your BCM is a CAR-16LW, ext... Nowhere on your gun or in your manual dose it say AR15. It just shows us once agin how stupid the media is. If you put the government in charge of the Sahara dessert there would be a shortage of sand in 5 years.

its a class of guns with interchangeable parts. the reason they arent all saying ar15 on the side is because of judges lawyers and trial attournies suing each other wasting tons of money, that we pay for in the price, over semantics we all ignore anyway.
its like getting all worked up because us southerners where im from when asked what would you like to drink?? ill have a coke. what kind?? iced tea...

That and the fact that the word Colt or the characters AR, CAR or AR-15 would make it illegal in NJ and several other post-ban only states.

Lol I knew this would happen. I guess it would just be a custom rifle. Kind of like putting a firebird body on a ranger frame with a 360. And adding a phantom front end. "Who knows"
I was just thanking about all the stupid stuff the they are saying about "assault weapons". And I have not heard anyone mention that a bushmaster really is not a AR15.

i find it amusing that there wasnt even a ar15 of any sort much less a bushmaster involved. the mother had a hi-point carbine in the trunk...

i have a Bushmaster XM15-E2S M4A2 Patrolman's Carbine. wow, that's a mouthful. if you'll beg my pardon i'll just call it an AR for short!
