Ever shot a bullpup? How'd you like the trigger?
Everything is a trade off. Looser tolerances, less precision. Less gas in the back, more gas up front.
Honestly I loooooove bullpups. They tickle the gun geek in me. But after shooting one...meh. I've handled a fs2000, msar, aug, fn p90, and they all fell like big fat chunky glock triggers. Don't get me wrong, I love my glocks, but I think their triggers have no place on a carbine/ rifle.

Who are you getting your info from?
It's widely known that a quality AR can go 10's of thousands of rounds with no cleaning or meintnence. It's been done, recorded, then put into print.
I myself run Tula w/o cleaning b/w range trips or 3gun comps. I'm roughly in the realm of 1.5k+ rounds. They stay wet and running strong.

Black rifles are just that , Beautiful, accurate, multi bullet flying machines
I presume one day black rifles will not be publicly available due to the great people we have running this fine country , So I have mine ordered and on its way

You're not pointing anything out that we don't know, and they're not pitfalls. Every weapon system has it's pros and cons. All the anti-AR15 people feel the need to call it out on how "dirty" it is and how it "must be kept uber clean all the time". That's just not true. As has been pointed out a few times in this thread already, multiple people have gone multiple thousands of rounds in between cleaning with no malfunctions of any kind.
If you don't like the weapon platform, great. However, that doesn't mean that we wanna hear about it.

If he had the chance to spend a year playing in the sand and depending on a m4 for his survival maybe he might have a different opinion of the platform. I can tell you I have spent weeks in sand storms in afgahastan. Where my rifle was filthy. I never once had any sort of malfunction. People that can't afford an AR make themselves feel better about not having one by talking trash about it. We don't want to hear your crap. If you like some other rifle better that's great tell us about it and why it is so great. Otherwise go troll somewhere else
