Pretty good shootin. I am thinking about doing an AR build for coyotes. Did you build this one ? What is it to be that accurate ?. Twist ? Barrel, etc

I shot a doe with a 55gr soft point. Double lung shot complete with exit hole. Worked like a champ.

it started as a complete ASA bull barrel rifle for $1400 and i got tired of the hand guard, stock, grip, barrel, and trigger lol.

thats the bushmaster varminter 24" extra heavy fluted barrel, Chrome Moly Vanadium Steel; fluted for light weight, and Manganese Phosphate finished. This non-chrome lined barrel is button rifled 1 x 9"; has a hybrid SAAMI Spec. chamber with longer throat or "Leade" to accommodate 5.56mm ammunition and is 1" diam. out to the gas block with an 11 competition muzzle crown

i did also get a v match gas block and matched bolt with it as well

so it started like this

so its sort of a build, it just started as a complete match rifle and still is

you can save some cash if u already have a upper, and get just the barrel for about $350 and it comes with the v-match gas block and matched bolt.

yep missed that i think. well my brother got one today with my m4 using just the a2 iron. he hit it 9 times while it was on the run lol not bad for 15 rds at about 200 yards on a running deer lol, ow well when it fell i think it was the neck shot that busted the spine. kinda rough but like he said he wounded it on the first shot so might as well pepper his ass to take him down. the funny thing is that he was using fmj and the all came apart in differnt ways but all but one sheded the jacked. kinda odd but they did some major damage. just mostly leg and gut shots and one in the rear hip. glad it fell cause that would have led to so ****ty tracking.

he is usally a great shot but i guess he got excited. that and we didnt expect to get another deer, we were tracking a hog and just walked up on it.

right, well when going for hogg, they work great cause of the unreal thick skin and fat they got but they did mostly explode/frag that was unexpected, it sounds worse that it was, he just went tat tat tat as fast as he could pull the trigger and the deer didnt get but 50-60 yards before it was down. i was laughing my ass off at the time.

he aimed and took forever and bang, deer jumps straight up, runs in a circle and the he just went nutts. it was all very fast. i just never thought he would use half a mag on one critter. i do got to say he is damn good with staying on target

rifle used to shoot the heck out of the deer
