always set up my red dots with a 50/200 setup also . same for irons . mil-dot scope 100 yards

In this example, if I a trying a 200 zero on my 100 yard range, I use two or three check points.

25 yard range, I adjust for about 3/8 below POA
35 yards ~ zero
100 yards s/b ~ 1.5 above POA

This get's me satisfactorily close for when I can get to a 200 yard range.
