No apology needed. It is completely annoying to have some shmuck come on here professing superior knowledge when a LOT of people on here sleep with AR's under their pillow.
I have a DPMS lower that has a Fulton armory upper on it. I can shoot a coke can 5 out of 5 times at 300 yards. Now, if that makes my rifle a POS, I would CERTAINLY like to see water weight do better.
DPMS is not controversial, people who dont know products thay bash are controversial.

I think everyone who has been a fan of the black rifle has had a bad experience or two with one brand or product at one time or another. I have a good friend who is an armorer for the sheriff dept. in a county or two in southern Minnesota and he swears by DPMS.

Enjoy your DPMS and shoot safe!

SC,

First of all, I will apologize to you for letting that all get out of hand like that. I should have just let his comment go, and continued on. Afterall we're all entitled to our own opinions, just as Water-Man is. So I apologize, and to Water-Man, too, but especially to the FTF members and forum. I'll try to bite my tongue in the future. But it just irritates me to no end at times, when folks come out and bash this company or that product for whatever reason, without having anything to back it up, other than hearsay from some other forum experts or wherever.

Anyway, I'm sorry to all. Carry on.

Slo

Oh....and enjoy your DPMS. You made a good choice

Default Wow...

I got in early on this thread and fortunately I missed out on all the shennanigans...

But since everyone else decided to post their pics of their DPMS AR's, I couldn't just let that opportunity go!

This pic is a little dated...I've since switched the UTG red dot sight for an Armson OEG and pulled the tactical light off the left side. The green laser is still on the right side though, and I've added a bipod.

Love my DPMS!

Josh

Hey Josh, what kind of Green laser did you mount? I put a Ijk Optics green laser on mine and it is fantastic day or night that SOB is clear as a bell.

Default Hrm...

I think it's a UTG green laser...the guys at the gun shop were like "hey we put a green laser on it" and I didn't ask any questions...No markings on it.

But mine and yours have the right things in common...very clear night and day.

Josh

How about some insight on you're opinions based on you're experiences? Share the wealth, so to speak.

So far all I see is 4 empty post with no substance
