When you said "FMJ" did you mean steel cased ammo?

I read this all the time and I have come to believe that most have never shot steel cased ammo. I shoot wolf and tula and neither wear varnish. Also read there not accurate. Well there not match grade ammo by any means but I don't have any trouble ringing a 18" steel plate @ 300 yards with them. I would say thats better than some of the cheaper bulk federal brass I recently ran . Its not any dirtier than winchester white box ammo. And at $219 @ 1000 rds its pretty affordable. If ur gun will run it u should try it u might be surprised.
And don't worry. Its not going to prematurely wear out a $12 extractor. One rifles I have just went over 6000 rds this weekend. All steel, lubed well and not been cleaned since new. Original gas rings and still runs flawless. This one is not getting cleaned until it quits.
