The lower really does nothing more than hold the trigger group and the butt stock. It doesn't take much stress and doesn't take much beating.

If it meets your accuracy expectations then I wouldn't waste the money. Looks like a nice rig even if others want to call it junk.

I've been reading allot about them. So far 50/50

The first ones produced sucked but the newer ones people all concur that they work well.

Anyways I guess I'll post my own experience after I run the crap out of her.

Since I'm a ak guy in gonna try running it dry and if it can't past my ak test then I don't want the weapon.

Test includes
Running dry , 1000 rounds no ftf etc, shots with irons out to 200 on target and a submerged water/ dirt test.

I will post a test on here.

Woah if your gonna do that, just buy a few sets of gas rings. They're cheap less than a buck each from Brownell's. /subscribed.

Good grief. Don't bother wasting your time and money then, sell it now. The AR should be lubed. As do most firearms.

You'll remember the quality of a gun long after you forget how much you paid for it.

If you are going for a true AK test, don't forget these two:

1. the DRT a Yetti with a foot shot test.

2. Drop in lava, run it over with a monster truck and then quickly shoot upside down in water test.

Optional: substitute a unicorn for the Yetti but shoot it in the hoof.

Or you could just put lube on the bolt every 500 rds and shoot accurately out to 400 yds...

Comparing the AR to an AK is like comparing a Yugo to a Corvette. I'll give you what you have into it and pay transfer fees.
