Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2009 Posts: 4 | I have a DPMS Pantherlite 16 inch carbine. It has an A1 upper with an A1 stlye birdcage flash surpressor. I think I want to change the surpressor to the Bushmaster shorty style that is about 4 1/2 inches long with internal threads that makes it look like the old commando style rifle. The new surpressor says it has 1/2 x 28 tpi. Is this compatible with my DPMS threads? |

Moderator ![]() Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: Austin, Texas, by God!! Posts: 3,955 | 5.56/.223 AR barrels (if threaded) should always be 1/2 X 28. The 9mm's ae different and the .308's are different. |
