I just picked up that upper today.
Spent an extra $100 to have the LMT sights included.

Havn't dissassmebled it yet to examine its condtion but the seller who seems like a stand up guy said "under 500rds" so I am expecting it to be an essentially new upper.

Including the sights spent $1300.
Did I do ok?

I suspect that with even significantly more than 500 rounds you'd have nothing to worry about.
As to price, It sounds like you did ok in my humble opinion (I'm no expert). Looking at their web site, new piston uppers retail for more than what you paid. In this market, half the battle is finding one at all, at any price.

Excellent manufacturer but man that's a lot of cash for an upper. You tell us if you did ok. I.E. range report!

I am tryoing to go shoot at a buddy property this weekend.
I may get a nice extra lower for this or just put it on one of other lowers.
I hate shooting these guns at the 25 yd indoor range so ai am working hard to let them strecth thier legs at a couple hundrds yards a bit.

You are right its alot of money for an upper. I could have paid only 1200 but i asked the guy about the LMT sights ( I am short on sights) and he said he wanted 100 bucks for them so I said "ok"

I alsoways considered this one of the most desirable rifles out there.
as a complete rifle I doubt i could have gotten it for under 2000 in this market.

Good pint!!
I hads been looking for this rifle for a while and when I found the upper I was "yay"

That same day I had made on offer on another rifle too and it got accepted so I wound up buying more than I intended with my income tax refund.

(I know some here will not approve on the thr rifle I bought )
