Jager,

If you have something like as large as a SureFire M900LT or a SureFire M981 you're technically mounting a weapon to your flashlight.

If you have a HellFighter, you really are mounting a weapon to your flashlight.

That'd be why SureFire invented the wristlight and Minimus.

SureFire provides options for folks who live with silly laws.

No lights, night vision optics or lasers "attached to the weapon". Wrist, handheld, or head light is ok. Handheld orhead mounted night vision too.

Just submitted a review comparison of the Surefire X300, TRL 1-S, and Insight WML HSP, should be up in a day or so. There's a beamshot comparison of the X300 170 lumen, and 500 lumen models, and 3 Streamlight models (160, 300 and 630 lumen models).

So there are some absolutely stupid gun accessory laws in Germany. Good to know they suck at something.

Be careful if you're on the move that light mount is only good to 100 mph!

roger that . I have a gear sector mount but with the standard skiny hand guards it doesnt fit , I want to keep this gun plain and simple its a 11" barreled SBR , nothing fancy about it but I had to have a light for a class , luckily we weren't WFO and it made it all day
