The biggest issue with assembling an AR isn't so much getting the parts together right - it's getting the right parts together. You'll remember the quality of a gun long after you forget how much you paid for it.

New ergo pistol grip, vltor receiver extension kit with magpull ASAP sling point, BCM bcg, BCM gunfighter medium latch charging handle, tango down stubby vertical grip, and per MikeJK's post on zeroing your AR, re-zeroed at 100yds. And yeah mike this is the one traded for the FNP.

It went perfect. The bull barrel plus 65 grain 556 equaled accuracy out the yang I must be honest tho, I'm just glad it didn't explode in my face considering it was my first build lol.

Went out last night with my mongrel ( S&W lower w/ old BM A1 carbine upper ) Test fired first batch of AR comp reloads through the chronograph..

AR comp powder 25.6gr
Hornady 55gr fmjbt
LC once fired cases and cci 400

First ten shot string

Low 3027
Hi 3284
Avg 3168

Ran a 30 rd mag through after, accuracy seemed good ( just fired standing while resting on side of truck bed , unable to go prone at the moment til knee recovers ) Cycled fine, ejected brass avg 6' @ 4:00 position

Time to start a mass production run.

We ran a few rounds thru with the newly added BattleComp 2.0. Aside from the ringing still in my ears (I forgot ear plugs at the house lol), I am truly pleased with the performance of the BattleComp.

Zeroed the new Aimpoint T1 2moa on the new BCM 14.5 middy!!! Gosh I love running training hard on the range! It's a workout you genuinely enjoy.
