Well today I took apart my heavy varmint barreled Rock River. It decided it was tired of being black and wants to be Cerakoted! Now I've just gotta decide what color to use.....

Also got in some 208 grain A-Max bullets and worked up a few sub sonic 300 BLK test rounds.imageuploadedbyfirearms-talk1391472651.621160.jpg208 gr A-MAX sitting on 9.4 gr of Hodgdon H110. Unreal at how long the projectile is compared to overall loaded length.

It's in her early stages but here it is; black rain suppressor, Blackhawk grip, Nickel Boron BCG, upper lower rails, Blackhawk forward handle and Magpul Magazine. imageuploadedbyfirearms-talk1391757571.812829.jpgimageuploadedbyfirearms-talk1391757590.329171.jpgimageuploadedbyfirearms-talk1391757611.437686.jpg

I have a real hard time capturing the color of Tia one on camera..... This is my varmint barreled Rock River. It was tired of being black, so I took it apart and Cerakoted it, color on this one is a custom blend of OD Green and Tungsten. Went back with OD green Magpul CTR stock, MOE K2 grip and AFG. Even able to find a couple if OD green Pmags as well.imageuploadedbyfirearms-talk1391782651.445326.jpg

This turned out to be a pretty unique color.

Doing a little change up on my 5.56 pistol. Not really feeling the quad rail anymore.... Decided to change the muzzle break and handguard. Switching to a Noveske KX3 flaming pig and a 12" Samson Evolution. The handguard should cover all but about an inch of the "pig". Just checked the mail and the KX3 is here! Handguard should be here Monday. Then I'm gonna take it all apart and Cerakote it.

Didn't really do anything to my AR but, I heard that Palmetto State Armory has announced on their Facebook that they have moved their customer service dept. into a larger building and expanded as well as adding more phone lines.

I have had great luck with the orders I have placed with them. But so many horror stories surround their CS dept. I have hesitated a couple of times to place orders with them.

The changes are supposed to start tomorrow so, we will see.
