This evening I sprayed Tungsten Cerakote on the hand guard, upper/lower receiver & compact carbine stock assembly. Had the parts baking when I left the office. So tomorrow I should be able to put this bad boy together!

I LOVE all these cerakote finishes!
How reflective are they in daylight or bright environments?

Got this much done on it. Still need to attach the bolt catch but need to get a smith hammer so I don't mar the finish. So gonna have to wait till tomorrow when the stores open back up.

Don't know if this counts, but just finished making a couple of tools for my AR15. Made a PIVOT PIN DETENT INSTALLATION TOOL and a PIVOT PIN DETENT DEPRESSOR for my AR. These things would cost $20.00 from Brownels. Guess I'm just a cheap skate. Made both tools from a couple of allen wrenches.

This will make my 4th full size rifle that is mine (3 of which I built)! I sold my first two builds, then took apart and repurposed my third build. So 7 builds so far.

Got some trigger time yesterday at my friends place in Indiana. Shot a hundred rounds through the 6.8 build upper. Also ran 500 rds through my testbed varmit rifle. POF roller cam tested very well. Average group dropped by 0.1 moa!
