Got tracking #'s for my Rainier Arms Billet upper, Ice Arms Barrel & 13 1/2" Diamondhead hand guard today. All parts to complete this build are in transit. Except for trigger..... The Fire Con 3MR trigger is not due till early January. Until then I am gonna rob the American Gold trigger out of my AR Pistol.

my s&w sport is not impressive to most here, i'm sure. i got it to explore the AR platform, and for the $679 initial investment.....i am really happy with it. it is fun, has been 100% reliable thus far, and has proven to be damn accurate (i think it has MOA potential, but i have only tested it out to 50 yards w/o magnification to this point).

anyway, i like it and i like the AR platform.

in the last few weeks i have made some minor adjustments. my biggest dilemma has been optics choice (surprise!). to this point, i added a cheek rest, rail and fore grip.....bought 3 optics (and returned 2 ). right now a nikon 1-4 m-223 sits on her. i THINK that might be the ONE for me, it is very very nice! still on the fence a little bit considering returning this scope and saving for an eotech....but not sure if i could ever spend that $ and feel ok with it.

here she is TODAY. nothing special, but she's growing on me....

What cheek rest did you put on that, looks great and really comfy! Also, how is the sight picture of the scope with the front sight?

This S.W.A.T. Billet upper/lower receiver set belongs to a customer who happens to be the FFL that I use. I sprayed them with Tungsten Cerakote last night.

This is the same color that I am going to use on my Seekins Dissipator build. I will post a couple more pics when I get to the office.

i guess i got lucky, cause it lines up very well with my scope and doesn't interfere with the charging handle as long as the buttstock is on its longest setting. (but i could place the cheek rest further back if i wanted as well).

i put a 1/2" riser on my rail, and the front sight is a very light shadow at the very bottom at 1X, and gone at 1.5 X. might get a taller riser in the future, but for now...its very functional imo. i have yet to get it to the range for the real testing though.

its just a simple snap on, but it works well imo.

Got in more parts for my next build, including the 13 1/2" Diamondhead hand guard. Took the 10 1/4" Diamondhead off of my Burnt Bronze build and put on the 13 1/2" to get a feel for what the next one will look like.

I'm in love with it! This is by far my favorite hand guard!
