For the blue loctite, the manufacturer says removal is simple using the usual tools but says to apply heat if necessary. I needed a lot of heat to break the tube free on my shotgun which was secured with blue loctite.
I wish I just put a few drops of blue on my stock threads but I didn't realize how runny it was and I tipped the little bottle and it poured out all over the threads!
They also make a paste and a wrap ( like Teflon tape) loc tite

If people would spend about 15 seconds and stake the castle nut properly there would be no need for lock-tite. Punch , hammer and your GTG. I have been staking the screws on gas blocks also . Takes very little time and is good insurance against problems down the road

Staked gas block

Got back the last of my hydro dipped parts from sexyweapon.com and changed out the hood on my Eotech EXPS2-2. Waiting on my lower and other assorted parts to come back from WMD where they are being nickel boron coated. Then I can assemble this bad boy!

Oh, yeah, that's better. Now that you have the parts together it's not so scary.
