I just took off my 15" samson evolution rail on my 18" SPRish build and traded it with my friend's 15" Midwest Industries SS gen 2 15". I just like the smaller diameter MI's a bit better. I also think they look nicer!

I ordered a magpul B.A.D. Lever and it should arrive tomorrow.
I'm thinking about a folding stock for compact storage but I used a lot of blue loc tite on my threads that will require a lot of heat to burn off.
An Aimpoint is also on my wish list.

put a CMC 4.5pound trigger kit in my bcm carbine. feels pretty good. much better than the milspec one i had in it. not quite as good as the wife's gieselle ssa trigger but pretty nice.

Dry fit two builds and now they are ready to send out for engraving and Cerakote. Last two builds for awhile as I don't have any more lowers hanging around, or room in the safe!

You shouldn't need heat for blue loc tite. Red requires heat, but blue does not.

I got my B.A.D. Lever and installed it in 2 minutes. It has worked well so far.
For the blue loctite, the manufacturer says removal is simple using the usual tools but says to apply heat if necessary. I needed a lot of heat to break the tube free on my shotgun which was secured with blue loctite.
I wish I just put a few drops of blue on my stock threads but I didn't realize how runny it was and I tipped the little bottle and it poured out all over the threads!
