Looked at them. I haven't fired a single shot since last Saturday because of my work, school, and special lady schedule. But I HAVE admired them. I need to build a rifle that my girlfriend can handle the sound of. Even with earpro she complains about 5.56 noise and it's apparently scared her enough that she won't even shoot my M&P 15-22 because it looks the same. Looks like what I really need is a can.

Now I need some range time!
Looks nice!

I have a question tho. By putting the fore grip on doesn't that sort of make it a sbr??? I know here in CT a fore grip on any pistol is a no no. But then again we can't have ar pistols either. I hate this place.

The AFG doesn't count as a forward "vertical" grip. Perfectly legal.

Saturday I sited in the Eotech on the Reaper and sited in my Primary Arms 6x scope on my Rock River. Then banged some heavy steel plates. Farthest hit was about 600 yards with my Rem 700 .308.

Finished the morning off with 1/2 lb of tannerite and a pumpkin...

Its getting there one piece at a time . Should have my scope rings thursday . Nikon 4-12 BDC for the ol girl I can see the BDC reticle is going to take some time getting used to since its kind of generic and it changes with variable power . Im pretty used to mil dots and knowing how much drop at any given distance is on the dots . This is a whole new thing that will take some getting used to for me

Disassembled an upper in preparation for Cerakoting. Lower and Cerakote should be in by end of the week.

Stopped at outpost armory on my way back up through Tennessee. (2nd time this week) Picked up my RCBS die set for the 6.8 along with another 100 rounds of hornady 120 grain sst 6.8 ammo and a 100 box of hornady 120 sst bullets. $172 well spent. :eek

$1.18 a round factory, reloads at 0.37 a shot, much better!

6.8 upper still 90%, waiting on comp. I keep changing my mind, my fault. Lower is waiting on an ACS-L parts kit I ordered from PSA. Plan on shooting it for a week (deer season) then strip it back down for duracoat camo...

..... Also preordered an NEA Compact Carbine Stock for the next build. So excited to find this stock! That's what you get when you're scrolling through the picture gallery on cerakote's website.
