Are you referring to the charging handle?

Probably just another style of charging handle release.

Fine then. The red arrow is just that, a freaking red arrow. the little dark line on the T-handle is a simple release cut out.

Intro section please.

It's as much about introducing the forum to you, as it is about introducing you to the forum.

justaplayer, why don't you jump over to the Introductions section and tell us a little about yourself?

It has instructions on "How To Post Pictures".

LOL! Well that went well.......

I was a master motorcycle mechanic, 23 years in the trade before I baled. I can't tell you how many times as a foreman or service manager I would get idiotic phone calls.......

Him: "hi my bike stopped running, what do you think is wrong with it?"

Me: "Well first of all, what model is it?"

Him: "Uh....I don't know, it's a red one"

Okay you are going to tell me the color...really? Not only that......granted certain models had certain idiosyncrasy's or bulletins out....so yeah, maybe if it was a model known to crap out at a certain mileage due to a faulty thingamajig.....you can give the guy an idea......but how the hell can someone say over the phone what is wrong with something, having not looked it over?

This thread reminded me of that. Not to be a jerk or anything.

I thought he meant it was an unusual charging handle and what kind could it be, or manufacturer. After all, it was black!
