Default Went with the Sig 556...

After living in the Mini-14/Mini-30 world for some time, I decided an AR would be a nice addition to my collection. I prowled around a bit, and landed on the Sig 556 SWAT as the one that suited me best. It's only been out to the range once, but the first 160 rounds went through it without a hiccup. I'm pleased with this "non-proprietary" choice...

That's a nice setup with the Troy sights. I'm going to play around with Sig's diopter rear sight co-witnessing with my red dot. I like the sight picture against a blank wall thus far. We'll see how it performs later this week...

On the plus side the rifle looks amazing and you can now get a Sig 516.
