Default Well.... Had a receiver "fall" into my gun safe..

I stopped by the local toy store after work today and was drooling around. As I was oogling the sig 556's.. I heard a "*TING* and a few cuss words. The guy behind the counter said "Ok folks, DPMS receiver with a blemish for $105.." I have never owned or had much to do with AR's... but I jumped at it. Got out of the store with a lower and lower parts kit for $175... which seems great by alaska standards...Now to put it together...

The only question is.. where to go from here. I love tinkering so this should be fun and money isnt a factor for the most part.. its just the decisions.

Zac - Well you are in the right place, go check out some of the threads "stickied" at the top of this section. Then be prepared for more information than you want.

Seriously, the first thing you need to decide is "What do I want this AR rifle for, and what do I want it to do?" There are SO many choices and SO many options. Take a bit of time to decide what end-product you want, and then post back. You will be flooded with advice (and preferences!).
