No kids, when some types of company is over they go back into the safe.
That and they stay in the master bedroom.
So there's got to be another method of mounting an AR on the wall.
My wife's Mossberg 500 uses Hercules Guitar Hooks to hang on the wall.
We also use it for our guitars:
The hooks have 2 little tabs that close as weight is applied from the guitar/gun so it doesn't easily get knocked off.
I found 2 different ways of hanging my AR on the same contraption but it doesn't have that sturdy of a grip.
This is the position I want the AR to hang. this is being balanced on the bayonet lug:

Ideally, I would like to hang the AR on the left side of the TV that you see to the left of the Shotty.
