Default Vortex Strikefire for my AR

Anyone have a Vortex optic on an AR? Thinking about the Strikefire or SPARC for mine. Thoughts? Looks like it gets decent reviews.

Check out primary arms, great gear, better prices.

I have both. Both are on AR pistols. They are good optics for the money. One is on my 458 Socom and one on my 5.56. The Strikefire has a 4 moa red or green dot and the Sparc has a 2 moa red dot. Look at the post above this one and you will see the 458 Socom pistol

I have one that i bought before they raised the price. It's a good optic BUT i dont care for where they put the buttons on it and the flip-ups are a PITA to snap back into the closed position. I'd follow tikki's advice and check out primary arms, you can get their Aimpoint clone with mount AND a 6x magnifier w/mount as well for around the same price as the Vortex these days. https://www.primaryarms.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=PRIMARY-ARMS-30MM-RED-DOT

I decided on the Primary Arms red dot and magnifier instead. Better price and good feedback.
