So I work for academy and I have access to a sight that will give me 50 percent off of msrp which is 599 and I can get one around $300. Should I look for another low power scope around this price range or go with it?

Vortex makes awesome optics. Id get one if I had the chance at one for the price you stated.

The Vortex PST is already a great scope for the money...with that discount it's a no-brainer.

Vortex makes some really good glass for the money. I've been looking for a good optic, tell you what, if you don't like it, I'll buy it from ya! So it'll be lik a no risk garauntee.
