I know this isn't an AR related complaint, but it's about Tula. I got a box of 50 for my M1 Carbine and went to the range. After 35-40 rounds, the rounds started to fail to extract. Well at that point it pretty much turned into a single shot rifle. I'd shoot, open the bolt, take my Mosin's cleaning rod, ram the empty casing from the chamber, recharger the round, repeat. Well I got some Tula 7.62x39 for my SKS, knowing it could shoot darn near anything I could put in it. I had one double feed, but that's cause I had my SKS on single shot mode. Ill continue to get it for x39 cause its $5.17 a box at Walmart.

When buying ammo just think of the AR-15 as a Quality sports car. If you neglect to use quality products in that car, it will eventually fail in some way. Think of the AK as a T-34 tank. You can neglect it, abuse it, and let it turn into a rusty chunk of metal and wood, but it will continue to serve you until it can serve no more. If your AK breaks, you buy a new one for a few hundred bucks. Sorry, I went on a rant :-)
