Just read a feature on this new pump action .223 built on the AR frame. Any happy owners out there?

Pump action AR? What's the purpose? Is it just a legal loophole?

More like sidestepping the "assault rifle" state bans. I like the idea because malfunctions should be rare, it will run much cleaner, and possibly be a great suppressor host. And it is a side folder.

Very interesting.

Sent from a phone I can use to do my taxes, but can't make a damn call.

I started a threat about two month ago asking the same question and got no response. I hope you do better.

I can't see anything not to like. A seasoned rifleman taking time to aim and naturally conservant of ammunition would have no problem keeping up a reasonable amount of lead on target.

i saw one at a gunshow a few months ago. i love the concept. but i think it is more of a gun to own just because. or for those in strict states. either way i wont be getting it unless i win the lotto. its just not on my list. lol

Yeah, I read this article a month or two ago...
A guy from New York developed it to get past a few ridiculous NY gun laws.
Not sure which laws it created a loop hole for but it made sense when I read the article.
I remember thinking, "if I lived in NY, I'd buy it"...
Unfortunately I live in California and even I feel bad for new yorkians

Sounds pretty smart to me. There are places in this country where our rights are being violated by restricting the ownership of semi-auto rifles, so a person can get one of these in defiance/compliance with the 'law' which violates their rights.
