Default Troy or Magpul Mbus

Guys.. i have a question. Those of you who own the Troy iron sights (Non micro set). How are they cowitnessing with Eotech? I have Magpul Mbus front+rear and cowitnessed it with my Xps2-0 on my first AR without the need of any riser. Are the Troy sights height front+rear heights the same as the Magpul's? I'm still thinking which sights should i get to cowitness with (another Eotech Xps2-0 or 552) on the SBR i'm building.

Thank you for any inputs.

I would expect any quality sight like Troy to be at the standard flat top/milspec height just like the MBUS. It would be insane for them to do otherwise.

The only exceptions should be the commercial height stuff that Bushmaster, ArmaLite, DPMS and others use (because they used the old A2 height FSB, not F-marked FSB, thus their rear sights had to be lower, the same height as an integrated A2 carry handle).

(I found this out when I bought a used Colt carry handle and tried to zero with the A2 height front sight on an ArmaLite upper. Once I got a taller sight post for the front, then the milspec carry handle worked fine and so did standard rear sights like the MBUS.)

The biggest issue with assembling an AR isn't so much getting the parts together right - it's getting the right parts together. You'll remember the quality of a gun long after you forget how much you paid for it.

Thx Mike.. pic says it all.
Yes i saw one and only video in utube comparison of those two. But i couldnt imagine the exact heights. For sure i notice the Troy pricing is double than the Magpul's. Lets hope my wallet is thick enough by the time i decide to get them.
