I also saw Troy accessories but didn't see the rifle itself at Dick's.

Must not be ready to sell them, maybe they can't make money at that price?

Do the ones at dicks look just like the ones on the website? Is that the only one available?

Quite a few B&M stores have them but Dick's hasn't added it to their online store.

I am curious as to the pricing too. Wonder if it is introductory pricing or if they have changed some components because the price for the rifle is cheaper than the retail price of just the uppers alone...and the uppers come with flip up sights and the VFG too.

Over at M4Carbine.net a guy put up some low-res pictures of a Troy he bought and it had a AR style bolt carrier, not M16. He also said the bolt wasn't marked HP MP so that could be a worry here. And a melonite barrel. Also why would they sell exclusively at Dick's of all places! Not exactly the first place you'd go looking for a quality AR. Still it's hard to believe Troy wouldn't do a rifle with their rollmark first class.

I think we may have another top-tier manufacturer here, would love for Troy to stick with the excellent quality they are known for and really putting out a badass rifle!

The BCGs I have in the previous generation Troy uppers are also semi-auto. The melonite barrel is probably still LWRCi CHF.

...I just checked the 7" Troy upper I have and that one actually does have an M16 carrier, but the bolt is not HPT/MPI marked. The 7" has a Stainless barrel, but not sure whose barrel it is (Noveske?). Again, these are last year's uppers, so I do not know if anything has changed, other than the rails. Here are some pics of the 7" upper.
