DefaultTrigger mods

Alright. I installed the reduction springs from JP that Brownells sells and polished the hammer and trigger mating surfaces to improve the stock trigger.

Feels great, but I can't test fire it until Halloween weekend!

Anybody use the JP springs?

I have a set of them in my 17" that was built for me before I knew anything about the AR platform. Pic in gallery. Never had a problem and the thing has pretty much seen some sort of range action on a consistant basis since I have had it, probably going on 5 years now...

Range report. This spring set makes for one SWEET pulling trigger! Between the polish on the moving parts and these springs and I actually favor it over the two stage RRA trigger.

Fired two mags of Wolf Mil Classic and some Monarch with no issues.

Excellent news. Good for all the forum to hear about a good, reasonably priced product that improves performance.

Thanks for reporting back!
