The right answer is to just buy a better trigger. If you're trying to be on a budget though, you can polish the contact surfaces. If you go through the case hardening, you're eventually gonna have issues. If you clip the hammer spring to about 1/4 inch on one side and bend the legs of your trigger spring up about 15 degrees, it makes a difference.

For an everyday rifle I use nothing but the RRA 2 stage NM trigger. In my eyes hands down the best trigger out there for just about any use. For my long range guns I have one with a jewell and one with a Timney. I like them equally really.
