haha! I thought that was Duct tape! if it moves and shouldn't, Duct tape. if it doesn't move, but should, WD40.

I like the look of the solomon weave/knots, and wanted to make a sling from it. and of course, the "survivalist who can live anywhere in an conditions" in me is happy because now I have about 100' of cord on my AR!

I've got a full size AR-15A2 with a target barrel, so a multi-point. Too heavy for a single.

Yea, it was duct tape for those things that don't stick but should, and WD40 for those that stick but shouldn't.

I do the double soloman on mine, or in current lingo the "King Cobra."

is that where you just go back over it a second time to get it bigger/wider? or are you using more cords through the middle? I used 4 down the middle of mine to give it a little more width without bulk, but I had to be very diligent in keeping the 4 strands "flat" with each knot, otherwise they wanted to bunch up and form a square, 2x2 instead of staying a flat 1x4

Yea, and the end you just double back. I always use a dual strand inner, though I've seen the 4 strand done many times. I use about 80-100 feet to make a sling
