with my old vietnam era ''rifle'' im doing 1 to 1 1/2 at 100' but my eyes aint what they oonce was.
but the rifle length sights is what saves me' i need that front sight as far forward as i can get it.

hey whtsmoke' just got a package yesterday from apex gun parts
my vietnam flat band slip ring [delta ring] showed up !!!

wooo hooo... !!!

she totaly correct now, ! got the m16 pencil barrel re-crowned and threaded,
new triangular handguards,
correct A1 stock' with the swivel stud.
and a chrome slickside BCG [on its way]

If you are interested in the Olympic Arms AR-15's and their current quality, I would encourage you to read this thread from a guy who was on the fence about Olympic and ended up one happy customer...

1bigterge do a search for Olympic Arms Forum its called Oa2 mainly oly people but they seem to have a variety of brands also, you can talk to some of the biggies from the company including the president at times.

Default My 2 cents...

Been an Olympic Arms owner since the late 90's, and I can attest to their accurracy as well as their quality....to the point where I own two...a CAR-97 and a Plinker. The PCR (politically correct rifle) was bought during the AWB and lacked a bayonet lug and had a fixed (pinned) stock that I replaced with a six-position stock, and I added Pachmayer grips. The Plinker has been left factory stock. Both are extremely accurate out to 300 yards ( farthest I been able to test them at outdoor ranges in my area. )

ya i just got the rifle today and slapped a browning holographic sight on becuase i had nothing els and i am varry happy with the gun i just dont like the lowwer it looks like its cast so i might end up buying another cheap one to put on it
