Try the .50 Beowolf then! The AR10 platform isn't all that much more, I've seen the S&W AR10 around $1500.

I had this built for me. GOOGLE STALKER 700. With scope I have about 8,500.00$ into it. Call it a wild hair. 26" satern barrel. Bolt action Remington 700 action based but its on steroids. Cerokote finish. Mark 4 6.5x20x50 front focal plane h58 reticle. Same rifle Remington built for our military the msr. DRAKE ASSOCIATES BUILT MINE! Way accurate out at long distances. Shot at 800yds only so far. It's incredible at that distance for me and I'm a beginner distance guy

Yeah I was looking at the armalite ar 30 in a 300 wm at $1700 it's a pretty reasonable price for a really nice long range gun

How about just buying an upper? You can do a 20" 6.5 grendel or 264lbc and go 1000+ spend the money you save on a nice bipod and glass.

+1 on that I am almost certain I'm gonna get another upper then buy myself a nice long range bolt action
